Crosslands Resources' Jack Hills Project is located 380 kilometres north-east of Geraldton in the Mid West region of Western Australia.
The Jack Hills Project was previously explored in the 1970s which identified the potential for a number of deposits of high grade hematite ore. Previous explorers at Jack Hills estimated potential mineralisation of 380 million tonnes at 62% Fe (non-JORC compliant resource). The project was not previously developed due to prevailing low iron ore prices and the ready availability of iron ore from the Pilbara.
