Murchison Metals Ltd is pleased to announce the composition of its senior management team tasked with leading the Company in its next stages of development.
A very experienced senior management team has been put in place by the Murchison Metals Board of Directors to implement the Company's strategy for the mining, transport and selling of iron ore from the Jack Hills Stage 1 operation and completes the feasibility study for its Stage 2 growth plans.

Chris Foley
Company Secretary / Legal Counsel
Chris Foley holds a Bachlor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. He has over 20 years of experience in the resources sector in private practice and various corporate roles.

John Westdorp
Chief Financial Officer
John Westdorp has extensive resource sector experience in Australia and overseas with some of the world's largest global mining companies, including Newmont Australia, North Limited and Robe River Iron Associates.
He had 11 years experience at Robe River Iron Associates and was the senior finance member of North Limited's Major Projects Group during the development of Robe River's $1bn West Angelas iron ore mine.

Sean Gregory
Chief Geologist
Sean Gregory has worked at the forefront of Western Australia's Iron Ore industry for a decade. In his previous role as Principal Geologist for Iron Ore giant BHP Billiton, he was responsible for co-ordinating all geological input required for the selection study for the multi-billion dollar Rapid Growth Project 5 (RGP5), the feasibility study for the US$2.1 billion RGP4 project and the feasibility study for the highly successful Area C mine.
Mr Gregory is a member of the Australiasian Institue of Mining and Metallurgy, holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology and an MBA from the University of Western Australia.

Jamie Wright
Manager - Corporate Development
Mr Wright has more than 15 years experience in the mining industry, with a background in business development and investment banking. Prior to joining Murchison, Mr Wright worked with a resources focused investment bank where he gained considerable experience in finance, public company listings, equity capital markets, strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
His background includes a B Eng (Mining) and BSc (Geology) double degree as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.

Luca Rocchi
Chief Mining Engineer
Luca Rocchi has 28 years experience in the mining industry in Australia. During this period he has held a number of roles ranging from supervisory and management through to technical positions. In his previous role as Manager Resource Strategy for BHPBilliton, Illawarra Coal, he was responsible for the long-term planning of the operations as well as developing the future development options for the organisation.
Mr Rocchi is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He also holds a First Class Mine Managers Certificate of competency as well as a Masters Degree in Mining Management from the University of Wollongong.
