MURCHISON METALS SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM
Murchison Metals Ltd is pleased to announce the composition of its senior management team tasked with leading the Company in its next stages of development.
A very experienced senior management team has been put in place by the Murchison Metals Board of Directors to implement the Company’s strategy for the mining, transport and selling of iron ore from the Jack Hills Stage 1 operation and completes the feasibility study for its Stage 2 growth plans.
The senior management team comprises:
Chris Foley - Company Secretary / Legal Counsel
Chris Foley holds a Bachlor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. He has over 20 years of experience in the resources sector in private practice and various corporate roles.
John Westdorp - Chief Financial Officer
John Westdorp has extensive resource sector experience in Australia and overseas with some of the world's largest global mining companies, including Newmont Australia, North Limited and Robe River Iron Associates.
He had 11 years experience at Robe River Iron Associates and was the senior finance member of North Limited's Major Projects Group during the development of Robe River's $1bn West Angelas iron ore mine.
Sean Gregory - Chief Geologist
Mr Gregory brings with him a wealth of experience in the Western Australian iron ore industry having spent the last nine years with iron ore giant BHP Billiton in the Pilbara.
Prior to joining Murchison, Mr Gregory was Principal Geologist at BHP Billiton
